Shariputhra
College, Matara, administration a provincial school is managed by the south
provincial Department under Ministry of Education and Mid Government of Sri
Lanka.
With over 1605
students 92 teachers and another
7 supportive
staff, As decentralization of power is vital for smooth management .The
principal with the assistance of Deputy principal manages the entire school
through delegation of powers to different sectional heads. The sectional
heads have been appointed to handle other specific areas, namely
co-curriculum activities, infatuations, academic affaire
Class Structure
Shariputhra College has classes from grade 1 to grade 13. All grades conduct classes in Sinhala medium. Advance level Grades conduct classes in Bioscience, Physical science, Commerce and Arts.
There two A/L labs and one O/L lab in our school. Our school has one computer lab and you can see about that lab on clicking Computer Unit button.
